COLOURFUL BAGGAGE.

Most days, I'm not big on too much colour.  It's not because I'm not attracted to bright things (insert joke about all the idiots I've ever dated here), but I usually find that more muted colours suit me.  I prefer to add a pop of block colour with a bright accessory.  Or, as I like to call them, a good "Attention Whore Bag".  As in, the bag's all like "screw you, stylish human, I'm gonna take all the limelight and there ain't nothing you can do about it!" (my bags are normally more street than I am).  Here's some of my favourite a.w* bags of the moment:

Pushlock Crossbody Bags in red, pink and green - £35 each, from Topshop.

I squealed when I saw these on the Topshop website, actual mouse-in-pain noises.  I think I want the green one the most, but then again the red is luscious and the pink is...well, pink (Barbie pink, which is a colour that I'm inexplicably, unashamedly obsessed with for the first time since I was of Barbie adoring age). These look perfect and for £35 they're delicious bargains.

I know I'm basically alone in this but I'm not a fan of clutches.  I like the idea of them - they look chic and clutch posing is super fun - but in reality they're a pain in the arse.  As I always say, strap on or the deal's off.   I have never said that.  Anyway, fully aware that everyone else disagrees with me, so I thought I'd throw in some colourful pony hair because a.) they're sexy and b.) I like to be topical.  No ponies were harmed in the making of these clutches (allegedly, but who can be sure?).

Oh mama.  The Proenza Schouler has been on my (extremely long/pricey/laughable) wishlist for ages.  I'm aware that it's a teeny bit expensive, but I had to include it, if only for the almost horny sadness it gives me.  If you like the style, there are some similar on eBay - although none in yellow, which makes me dreadfully sad.  Slightly more attainable is the Cambridge Satchel satchel, which I think I like mostly because the Google Chrome advert makes me well up (I think it's the addition of the dog playing with the bag.  Dogs slay me.), although to be fair the bags are beautiful - I've also been eyeing up a green 11" one (which is sentence I never thought I'd write).  Again, if £109 is a wee bit pricey for you (I hear you, sister), there are plenty (PLENTY) of cheaper versions of this bag on eBay, in about a million different colours.

*On a normal blog, those letters would stand for Autumn Winter.  Not this one.  I'm blowing your mind with my maverick ways, right?
