BELATED-NOT-REALLY-A MONDAY MUGSHOT #11

I was too busy to blog yesterday and I don't think it would be fair to inflict photos of myself in my current, hungover state, upon you, so here we are: a Monday Mugshot that is neither a mugshot, nor posted on a Monday.  I just want to say a quick thank you to everyone who's followed me recently, you clearly have terrible judgement, but I like you.  Usual service to resume next week!

Last night I went to a Mexican restaurant with some of my friends, then to a bar overlooking the embankment, and then into town.  My birthday's usually utterly rubbish but this one was really lovely.  Good food, great friends and lots of dancing.  Also rather a lot of alcohol.  Also I fell over twice and really hurt myself.  Also I told everyone that my mother works on Babestation (she doesn't, I don't know why I said that.).  

Today has been nice if not a bit fuzzy (currently slumped on the sofa in my pyjamas, surrounded by tissues after tearfully watching Up.  Really desperately want some henchdogs now.).  Slept way past midday, then went to pick up my son and have belated birthday cake with my parents. 

I can't believe I've reached a quarter of a century.  WHERE HAS MY LIFE GONE?  NO SERIOUSLY, WHERE?!  Man alive.  I'm not who I thought I'd be by now. I have a child, for one thing!  My son is a beautiful, clever little boy and I have a small number of close friends who are talented, intelligent and fucking gorgeous.  There's some crap that needs sifting out of my life.  Oh boy, is there crap. But despite that, I think I'm pretty happy. And that's something that I never thought I'd be.
