THROWBACK...SATURDAY?



With my birthday on Monday (argh) I've been wondering why I haven't married a prince, travelled the world or won the lottery yet reminiscing and looking through old photos at my parent's.  Turns out that my reignited love of scrunchies is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to interesting headwear:


Ooooh, stylish.  Especially the first one, which I was reminded of when lusting over the Rock n Rose crowns the other day (there's always one major thing that I forget to put on my Christmas list!).  The padded fabric headband is something I hope NEVER comes back in fashion - I can't remember exactly how many I had, but I know it was too many.

  2. Oh my stars this has freaked me out so much. The photo on the left could have been me when I was a tot. The only dif is I had bright blue eyes and err... smashed up teeth cos being a little badass at three I slid down a banister at school and smashed my mouth up. Yay.
    Yay for cool kiddy headgear!

  7. Oh, the hairbands.. I have many a school photograph sporting one of those bad boys. If they do come back into fashion I'm sure my Mam still has one knocking about (You know, just in case..!?)

  10. I'm afraid to say I had a hairband like that! for shammmeee! no matter how padded they were the plasticy bits always used to dig in, maybe I just had a big head lol xxx
